Galp, one of Portugalʼs leading energy providers, needed a centralized platform to match their consumer-first digital transformation. Despite their broad offer— from gas to electricity—customers lacked a single, easy-to-use place to manage services. The goal? Build a digital portal to unify information, support, and management for both existing and potential clients.

Approach

We built casa.galp.pt—a dual-purpose platform that serves both as a public site and a powerful client area. On the public side, users can explore Galpʼs energy offerings, simulate tariffs, report issues, and access key regulatory content.

In the private area, customers can take full control: manage contracts, view invoices, submit readings, track consumption, and check payments. The result? Fewer service requests, better user autonomy, and a massive leap in digital customer experience.

We also developed a mobile app mirroring the main features, including meter reading submission, to serve on-the-go users.

casa.galp.pt is more than a website—itʼs Galpʼs digital engine, streamlining operations while unlocking new cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

Technology

Built with Vue.js on the frontend and Drupal as CMS. The system leverages Azure API Management and Azure AD B2C for identity services, using Open Graph, SOAP, and REST protocols.

The mobile app was developed in Swift 4 and Java, with Google Speech for voice recognition and Google Vision for OCR.
