Our challenge was to deliver a future-ready platform that complied with public sector technical standards while remaining intuitive and accessible for millions of users across different devices, accessibility needs, and levels of digital literacy.

To support the demands of a government platform, digital.gov.pt was developed with performance, scalability, and accessibility at its core. The frontend was built using Angular with Angular Universal for server-side rendering, ensuring fast loading times and strong SEO performance. Tailwind CSS provides a flexible and responsive interface designed to evolve alongside the platform.

Every design and development decision focused on simplifying access to public services, improving navigation, and meeting the strict accessibility and compliance standards required for government websites. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager support continuous monitoring and optimisation, allowing the platform to evolve according to user behaviour and institutional needs.
