Decoupled Architecture

Loja da Cultura is Santa Casaʼs official cultural store, offering a curated selection of books, accessories, jewelry, and objects inspired by the collections of the São Roque Museum. The goal was clear: upgrade the store to match the level of its content—premium, intuitive, and scalable.
The previous store was outdated and limited by a rigid backend. Our task? Build a flexible, modern platform that respects the institutional framework while delivering an improved shopping experience for all users.
We gave Loja da Cultura a complete digital renovation—new structure, new skin, and new logic.
Navigation was rethought to surface suggestions, highlight free content, and simplify product discovery. We expanded the homepage into a functional hub: promotions, event banners, and product categories are now one click away. The look and feel align with the broader Santa Casa ecosystem, but with distinct retail clarity.
All of it was built on a modular, decoupled system—giving the content team full control, without touching code.
Clean, modern, and made to grow.
The new store performs faster, looks sharper, and adapts easily to future campaigns or product expansions. Users can explore, filter, and shop with ease —whether theyʼre browsing stationery or buying ceramics.
Core upgrades:
- Fully responsive design
- Smart product filters and categorization
- Homepage banners and featured collections
- Institutional yet intuitive UI
- Admin-ready CMS for real-time updates
- Seamless cart and checkout
We used a decoupled architecture for flexibility and performance. WordPress with WooCommerce powers the backend—chosen for its scalability and ease- of-use. The frontend runs on Nuxt.js, delivering a fast, reactive interface with cached navigation for near-instant reloads.
The two sides are connected via GraphQL, optimizing data delivery and minimizing load. This modern stack allows Loja da Cultura to scale effortlessly while maintaining peak performance and content control.
