At Hypnotic, we don't just build products for clients—we also create our own. Glimpse started as an internal concept exploring a simple question: what if all the things that matter—memories, notes, playlists, links, and conversations—could live in one personal space?

Rather than creating another storage app, we focused on building an experience that felt natural, personal, and enjoyable to use. Throughout development, the product evolved through continuous testing and iteration, refining both the user experience and the feature set to better support the original vision.

Glimpse was designed to feel more like a personal companion than a traditional productivity tool. Every interaction, from the interface to the microcopy, was created to make saving and revisiting content simple, intuitive, and enjoyable.

Continuous prototyping and user testing helped refine navigation, organisation, and sharing features, ensuring the product remained focused on meaningful experiences rather than feature complexity.

The app was developed using Flutter to provide a consistent experience across iOS and Android. Firebase powers authentication, storage, and real-time synchronisation, while Node.js supports the backend logic and API layer.

The result is a scalable architecture capable of supporting both personal content management and collaborative experiences.
