Context

Born from the union of Iontas, FairJourney, and Flow Eighteen, FairJourney Biologics needed a platform to reflect the power of their combined biotech expertise. This wasnʼt just a website. It was the launchpad for a new phase—bringing together state-of-the-art labs, award-winning architecture, and a bold scientific mission to accelerate antibody discovery worldwide.

Hypnotic was brought in to translate all that complexity into a digital experience that was fast, functional, and visually sharp.

Approach

We designed a high-impact platform grounded in structure and storytelling. The brand voice? Clear and confident. The UI? Dense but intentional. No empty space for the sake of minimalism—every interaction was mapped to how researchers think, search, and explore.

Inspired by the architecture of FairJourneyʼs HQ in Porto, we extracted the triangular design language and embedded it subtly into the interface —icons, dividers, motion cues. The result: a digital experience that mirrors the physical space it represents.

Website

Biotech, made visual.

This platform doesnʼt just say “innovationˮ—it shows it. The layout is layered and responsive, designed to handle complex content without losing clarity. Navigation flows like logic: structured, segmented, hover- activated. Motion is used with purpose, enhancing orientation without creating noise.

Core features:

  • Dense, readable content design built for researchers
  • Scientific tone matched with high design value
  • Responsive triangular grid system inspired by the HQ architecture
  • Lottie-based animations and GSAP transitions
  • Navigation that adapts to content logic and hierarchy

Itʼs a site you donʼt just read—you move through it. Intentionally

Technology

The platform was built with Next.js for fast performance, seamless routing, and optimized SEO. Sanity CMS powers the content, providing flexibility and a modular editing system thatʼs easy for internal teams to manage.

GSAP and Lottie animations were used to create an interactive yet minimal motion layer—guiding users visually without overwhelming them. Every transition, hover, and scroll was tested for clarity and speed.

FairJourneyʼs new platform is more than a site—itʼs a digital extension of their scientific edge.
