Context

The British Council needed more than a form. They needed a shift—a seamless self-service registration platform to replace clunky, manual processes and elevate the customer experience across regions.

The challenge: unify registration for secondary students, adults, and corporate clients, each with different touchpoints and pre-registration flows. Add on the need for real-time account management, reservation logic, CRM and payment integration, and a clean UI that works across devices—this wasnʼt a skin-deep redesign. It was a full operational upgrade.

Approach

We tackled complexity with clarity. From day one, the user journey led the build —every flow mapped to real behaviors, every screen designed for intuitive use.

We introduced segmented entry points for different user types, simplified registration forms, and a visual system that guides rather than overwhelms. Admin autonomy was a priority: we developed a custom CMS to support British Council teams in managing content and flows without developer bottlenecks.

The result? A platform that meets British Councilʼs operational demands, reduces support load, and improves conversion—without compromising user trust or performance.

The Enroll platform centralizes what used to be scattered across systems and spreadsheets. From interest to payment confirmation, users now move through a consistent, branded experience—whether theyʼre booking a class, managing their profile, or receiving automated updates.

Behind the interface: real-time status tracking, secure payment, admin dashboards, and logic to handle edge cases like interview requirements or delayed approval processes. Itʼs clean, powerful, and built to scale.

Developed in four months, the platform blends security, scalability, and smart integration. Account management and reservation flows were designed to adapt to different user profiles, with Stripe powering fast and secure payments.

We connected the platform to Salesforce for CRM, Constant Contact for automated communications, and a lightweight custom CMS for content control. GDPR compliance was non-negotiable, and accessibility was baked in from the first wireframe.

Built for performance across browsers and devices, this isnʼt just a website. Itʼs a digital backbone for one of the worldʼs most recognized cultural institutions.
